Healthy Dinner – finally

Healthy fish dinner

Many of you know, I try to eat healthy.  I may not always make it through each day without a little refine sugar but I start the day hopeful.  In my pursuit of healthy eating, I find Tosca Reno author of The Eat Clean Diet my favorite source for info and recipes.

This past week I made a very tasty and clean dinner.  It looked so good, i just had to take a photo.  The red fish was caught by the husband on a fishing trip this fall and really delicious!  All I did was top it with some whole wheat bread crumbs, italian seasoning and a little parm cheese.  Then steams the asparagus and roasted red potatoes.  It was so good, I made it again this week.

The basics of clean eating are:

  • Eat five to six times a day
  • Drink at least 2 liters of water
  • Get label savvy
  • avoid processed and refined foods
  • shop with a conscience
  • comsume healthy fats
  • Learn about portion size
  • Slow down and savor
  • Take it to go
  • Make it a family affair
